gourdshaped is a new homeowner, sometime writer, very amateur photographer and a decent cook (not chef). He resides in southern/central Maine with his partner (the inimitable J) and two cats. He enjoys crafts, video games, books, music, and films of all caliber and genre. He also enjoys making long lists of things, and surrounds himself with office supplies.
There is something a little bit gay about everything gourdshaped does.

A graduate of the University of Maine, now a state employee for seven years (a ‘long timer’ but not yet a ‘lifer’), he sometimes thinks of the five and a half years he spent obtaining a degree in English/Creative Writing and just laughs, laughs, laughs. Then he thinks about his student loans, and that usually stops it.
gourdshaped maintains this blog, along with everything else in his life, with the help of half-caf coffee, a digital camera, and a cheap version of Photoshop Elements he won on eBay. Thus, the high quality result.
